Physicochemical characteristics of fresh and lyophilized Georgian royal jelly and Formulation bentonite-based cream

Royal Jelly (RJ) is one of the most valued and studied bee products used in medicine cosmetics due to its diverse pharmacological properties. Chemical composition biological activity RJ depends on many factors, including constitution geographical distribution plants, harvest time species. The objective present study was physico-chemical characterization comparison fresh lyophilized RJ; development dermatological formulation by incorporating Tikha Ascane base. evaluations loaded formulations were performed oven-dry, titrimetric, potentiometric, FTIR methods; 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid (10-HDA) determined high-performance liquid chromatography. In addition, physical stability developed investigated examining viscosity, spreadability, thermal colloidal stabilities, pH, homogeneity appearance. Lyophilized displayed up similar properties (solubility, acidic number) as RJ. chromatographic analysis showed alike fingerprints existence 10-HAD tested samples. No spectral differences (in range 3600–2800 cm-1 1750–950 cm-1) observed measurements after lyophilization. shows that prepared found be stable. samples had appealing appearance with smooth texture no signs separation. Viscosity, homogeneity, pH release profile from acceptable.
